THE PDC are delighted to confirm that ITV will broadcast the 2010 Players Championship Finals live from the Circus Tavern in Purfleet.
Phil Taylor claimed the inaugural Players Championship title in February when he defeated Robert Thornton at the famous Essex venue.
Comprising the top 32 players from the 2009 Players Championship Order of Merit, next year's Players Championship Finals will be held from January 28-31.
ITV4 will again broadcast the tournament live from the Circus Tavern, with the event accompanying their coverage of the PartyPoker.com Grand Slam of Darts.
Play will begin on Thursday January 28 with the first eight games from round one, which will be completed on Friday night.
The second round will be played on Saturday across two sessions, with the quarter-finals on Sunday afternoon and the semi-finals and final played in one session on Sunday night.
"We are absolutely delighted to again have ITV4 as broadcaster for this prestigious event," said PDC Chairman Barry Hearn.
"The first Players Championship Finals earlier this year were a huge success and anticipation is already high for next year's tournament.
"ITV Sport have made a welcome return to broadcasting professional darts in the last three years through their coverage of the PartyPoker.net Grand Slam of Darts and the Players Championship Finals and we look forward to continuing our relationship with them."
