PETER MANLEY stormed into the final of the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship with a 6-0 win over Wayne Jones.
The Carlisle thrower truly lived up to his "One Dart" nickname with a sensational display of scoring and finishing to ease past the qualifier.
After punishing missed doubles from Jones to edge the opening set 3-2, Manley produced some thrilling darts to power clear.
He hit an 11-dart leg on his way to taking the second set 3-1, and then landed a 121 finish in the third, which he won without reply from Jones.
Manley went 2-0 up in the fourth set before Jones managed to stop the rot and land double 16, but the world five seed hit another 121 checkout to move 4-0.
He went even better, landing finishes of 144 and 156 to win the fifth set and then came from a leg down to win the sixth set and complete a remarkable victory.
"It's one of my best performances," admitted Manley. "I probably got away with the first set, and was pleased with my finishing.
"I took out a few ton-plus finishes, which was terrific.
"I've been very relaxed throughout the event and I'll look forward to the final.
"I've won at least £50,000, which means I can pay off my mortgage! I've only been in for three weeks, so I'm delighted - if I win maybe I'll get an extension!"
Manley went into the game looking to silence his critics, following the high-profile quarter-final clash against Adrian Lewis.
"All the hype that surrounded the incident with Adrian angered me," he admitted. "I wanted to come here and play darts, and I certainly did that."
Jones admitted: "Peter was absolutely fantastic - that's the best I've ever seen him play.
"I've no complaints. I should have won the first set but he was superb after that."
