MICHAEL VAN GERWEN has been installed as the 13/8 favourite with Coral to win the SINGHA Beer Grand Slam of Darts next week.
Dutch star van Gerwen is bidding to claim his first Grand Slam of Darts win, having extended his lead as the world number one by winning last weekend's European Championship in Belgium.
Van Gerwen is the 13/8 favourite with Coral, the official betting partner of the SINGHA Beer Grand Slam of Darts, to lift the title on Sunday November 15 at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall.
Reigning champion Phil Taylor is the 3/1 second favourite, with PDC World Champion Gary Anderson 9/2, Adrian Lewis a 16/1 shot and the trio of Dave Chisnall, Peter Wright and James Wade all 20/1.
Seeded stars Ian White and Robert Thornton are both 33/1, with former Grand Slam of Darts champion Raymond van Barneveld quoted at 40/1 to win back the title, alongside Kim Huybrechts, Michael Smith and Jelle Klaasen.
Three-time Lakeside Champion Martin Adams is joined as a 66/1 chance by former finalist Terry Jenkins, with reigning Lakeside Champion Scott Mitchell 125/1 to celebrate his Grand Slam of Darts debut with victory next week.
