THE draw for the PartyBets.com Grand Slam of Darts will be made on Monday 22 October at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall.
The tournament will feature 32 players competing for £300,000 in prize money at the Wolves Civic from 17-25 November, live on ITV.
The First Round will see players drawn into eight groups of four, with players then facing the other three in their group once over the best of nine legs, before the top two progress to the knockout phase.
The seedings for the tournament have been weighted according to the success of each player in qualifying for the tournament, with current PDC World Champion Raymond van Barneveld the number one seed.
Phil Taylor, who has won the World Championship, two Premier Leagues, World Matchplay, World Grand Prix, World Series of Darts and US Open during the qualifying period, is the number two seed, with International Darts League and World Darts Trophy champion Gary Anderson seeded third.
James Wade, who added the World Grand Prix to his World Matchplay title last weekend in Dublin, is seeded four, with former Lakeside Champion Jelle Klaasen, reigning World Masters winner Michael van Gerwen, 2006 Las Vegas Desert Classic winner John Part and Terry Jenkins - who has reached five finals in the past two years - also in the top eight seeds.
The second pot of players features the other eight runners-up from tournaments during the last two years, including Welsh duo Mark Webster and Barrie Bates, Dutchmen Vincent van der Voort and Roland Scholten and 2007 Lakeside finalist Phill Nixon.
The final two places in the field will go to the highest two non-qualified players in the PDC Order of Merit at Monday 12 November, with those two players joining the International Qualifiers and ITV Wildcards in pot four.
