JUST three places remain up for grabs in the PartyPoker.com Grand Slam of Darts.
Wes Newton was the 29th player to be confirmed in the tournament when he won the ITV Wildcard Qualifier on Friday night in Irvine.
The winner of Championship League Darts this coming Thursday will also be invited to play in Wolverhampton next month, while the finalists of the inaugural European Championship next weekend also qualify.
However, if some or all of those three players have already qualified for the Grand Slam of Darts, then the ITV Wildcard Qualifier reserves Colin McGarry, Alan Tabern and Jamie Caven would come in.
The Championship League Darts final group will already feature Alan Tabern and Colin Osborne, who have yet to win Grand Slam of Darts places, with the likes of Adrian Lewis, Dennis Priestley and Mark Dudbridge also in action this week.
Tickets for both the PartyPoker.com Pro-Celebrity Challenge and PartyPoker.com Grand Slam of Darts start at £10 and are still available on 0870 320 7000 or via www.wolvescivic.co.uk.
