THE Professional Darts Corporation will stage two Players Championship tournaments in Gibraltar on 20 & 21 January 2007.
The tournaments will be open to PDPA members as well as non-members resident in Gibraltar and Spain, with two different ways for these players to enter.
For a fee of £75 per tournament, non-members can enter directly into the main draw, with a further 16 places in each event on offer from a play-off.
A play-off will be held in the evening of Friday 19 January for the 16 places in Saturday's Stan James Players Championship.
A further play-off will then take place on Saturday morning for the spots in Sunday's Players Championship event.
PDPA members can enter via the PDC on 08712 501180 or online before 4pm (GMT) on Thursday 11 January, for the regular £65 entry fee.
Non-PDPA members resident in Gibraltar and Spain can enter via www.180darts.com/pdc or by post to Gibraltar Darts Association, PO Box 681, Gibraltar.
The cost for non-members to enter each event directly is £75, or £10/20 euros to enter each qualifier.

Prize Fund:
Each event will have a £20,000 prize fund, split as follows:
Winner: £5,000
Runner-Up: £2,500
3-4th: £1,250
5-8th: £600
9-16th: £300
17-32nd: £150
33-64th: £75
The remaining £400 goes into the nine-dart fund for each event. The fund for the first event is currently £2,800. If no nine-dart leg is hit on Saturday, the prize fund will increase to £3,200; if a nine-dart leg is hit on Saturday the prize will be £400 on Sunday. If more than one player achieves this in each stand-alone event, the prize will be split equally.

Flights are available to Gibraltar from London Gatwick and London Heathrow on British Airways.
