A FAMILY ENCLOSURE will be introduced at each venue for the 2009 Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts.
The tournament will once again be staged in major arenas around the UK, with 14 league nights held from February to May followed by the play-offs at the end of May.
The dates and venues will be confirmed before the end of August, however the PDC can confirm that they will make an area of seating close to the stage at each venue a Family Enclosure.
"The Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts has become a memorable experience for all darts fans, and we hope that the introduction of a Family Enclosure will make the night more special for families attending the events," said PDC Chief Executive Matthew Porter.
"Introducing a Family Enclosure will give darts fans who wish to bring their children a chance to enjoy the night in the company of other families.
"We encourage fans at all our events to enjoy themselves and the occasion, and seeing eight of the world's best players in action on one evening has become one of the highlights of the sporting year in many of the arenas we visit."
