AUGUST will feature Players Championship tournaments in four different countries as the PDC Pro Tour visits Australia, north America and Holland.
The first PDC Pro Tour event in Australia will be held on Sunday August 10 when New South Wales' Shoalhaven Heads hosts the Australian Open Players Championship.
Held as the culmination of a week of events in the William Cross Pro-Am by DartPlayers Australia, stars including James Wade, Ronnie Baxter, Denis Ovens, Robert Thornton and UK Open runner-up Gary Mawson are heading to New South Wales to compete.
Entry costs £30 for PDPA members and closes at 12pm on Thursday July 31.
Canada then hosts the Kitchener Open Players Championship on Sunday August 17, before the Peachtree Open Players Championship takes place the following Sunday.
Two Players Championship events in Koningshof, Holland will then wrap up the around-the-world tour on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 August.
Entry for these events is still available through the PDC Online Entry System.
The PDC have also been informed that players are able to travel to Kitchener via a direct transfer from Detroit.
Players competing in the inaugural European Championship at the end of October will also be able to take part in the John McEvoy Gold Dart Classic.
Flights with Ryanair are available from Frankfurt-Hahn to Kerry on a daily basis, leaving at 12.30pm on Friday and 12.15pm on Saturday for players who are eliminated early from the European Championship.
