TOP players from the PDC and world of darts joined some of the future stars of golf on Tuesday for the inaugural PDC Golf Championship.
Held at Collingtree Park GC in Northamptonshire, the event saw top professionals from the PGA EuroPro Tour, the world's leading developmental golf tour, join forces with the likes of Mervyn King (pictured), Terry Jenkins and Wayne Mardle.
That trio were among the stars to take part in the day, including Colin Osborne, Mark Dudbridge, Andy Jenkins, Steve Hine and American ace Gary Mawson, as they joined partners and sponsors of the PDC.

Former World Champions John Lowe, Bob Anderson, Steve Beaton and Keith Deller also took part, as well as PDC Chairman Barry Hearn, Sky Sports duo Rod Harrington and Dave Lanning and top referee Russ Bray.
Ex-Arsenal and England footballer Lee Dixon, DJ Spoony and TV presenter Vernon Kay also teed up for the event.
"It's great to be able to celebrate the sport of darts and the people who have made it so successful recently - the players, broadcast partners and sponsors," said PDC Chairman Barry Hearn.
"It was an excellent day for the darts players and gave them a chance to mix with some future champions of another sport.
"Players from the PGA EuroPro Tour are the future winners on the European Tour and their guidance and help proved invaluable for many!"
Jenkins, a self-confessed novice on a Championship golf course, saw his opening shot of the day land two feet from the pin on the 12th - only for Osborne to beat that mark later in his round.
"It was probably the best shot I played all day!" said Osborne, a single-figure handicap player.
"Playing alongside Chris Hanson was brilliant and it was a lesson just watching him play, never mind taking tips from him.
"It's been a busy darts schedule recently so I enjoyed taking time out to play in this."
Mardle's appearance was his first public outing since being ruled out of the Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts last month through mumps, ahead of his hopeful return to action on the PDC Pro Tour in Newport this coming weekend.
"I'm still not fully recovered but it was nice to be able to get out and about," said Mardle. "It's been a frustrating time recently but hopefully the comeback starts here!"
Mardle's team, which included representatives of Sky Sports, finished third in the overall team competition, with Dudbridge - who partnered PDC Director Eddie Hearn and DJ Spoony - coming second.
The team including PDC Director Bob Scott won the team competition, while Osborne was amongst four Nearest The Pin winners and Dixon was one of two Longest Drive winners.
Scotland's Elliott Saltman was the leading PGA EuroPro Tour professional, hitting a four-under-par score of 68 for his round.
