Terry Jenkins v Mervyn King
Mervyn King is top of the league still but he got beaten by Raymond van Barneveld last week and I can see him getting beaten by Jenkins if Terry can hit his doubles.
He's scoring well enough and hitting a lot of 180s but he's missing too many darts at doubles - and it's not just one but sometimes two, three, four or five darts and you can't do that at this standard.
One thing King has done in the Premier League is take his chances with a lot of ton-plus shot outs so this one could really go either way.
But Jenkins is going to win sooner or later and maybe this game will be the start of him form coming back.
Boylesports.com Match Odds
Terry Jenkins 15/8, Mervyn King 5/6, Draw 4/1
Wayne Mardle v James Wade
Wayne had the opportunity to beat Phil Taylor last week and he didn't even get a draw out of it - he missed chances but scored very well.
James Wade is on fire after winning a Blue Square UK Open Regional Final at the weekend and he's playing superbly.
Mardle has to score well and take his chances otherwise James will do what Phil did last week.
Boylesports.com Match Odds
Wayne Mardle 5/1, James Wade 3/10, Draw 11/2
Raymond van Barneveld v Jelle Klaasen
After Barney's performance last week I can only see one winner.
Klaasen is giving himself chances but he's not taking them, which you have to do in this short format against this class field.
Barney played really well last week - his attitude was right and that's what I like to see in Raymond.
You get him smiling and he's dangerous and I can only see him winning the battle of the Dutchmen.
Boylesports.com Match Odds
Raymond van Barneveld 1/4, Jelle Klaasen 11/2, Draw 11/2
Phil Taylor v John Part
If there's one player who can beat The Power on the big stage it's John Part.
He's got more bottle than the rest of the field put together, he really does take his chances and that's the reason why he has been putting points on the board.
If Phil Taylor gives Part chances like he did with Mardle last week then John will punish him.
But I expect Taylor to come out firing after a few days off and he's relaxed and back into his usual mode of getting up there and doing the job.
John has to be at the top of his form when he won the World Championship against Phil in 2003 otherwise Phil could run away with this.
It will all come down to who can set up the shots from around 200 - they have to go out in six darts.
If Part does it he may get a point but if Phil does it, he could win 8-3 or 8-4.
Boylesports.com Match Odds
Phil Taylor 1/9, John Part 8/1, Draw 12/1
