Rod Harrington's Manchester Preview

ROD HARRINGTON previews night six of the Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts.

The Sky Sports expert, in his MatchroomBets.com video preview, looks at each of the four games to be played at the M.E.N. Arena in Manchester on Thursday.

Match odds and other prices are available from Boylesports - the official betting partner of the Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts.

Raymond van Barneveld v Mervyn King
This could be a real good game. I fancy a draw here but King has been the most consistent player of the eight throughout the Premier League.

Barney is finding it hard like a lot of the players - one week he's playing really well, the next he is missing too many doubles.

He's not setting the shots up very well and from around 200 he is not going out consistently enough in six darts and this is where King can take advantage of him as he did against Phil Taylor last week.

I see this one as a draw, although it wouldn't surprise me what way it went as it is really hard to predict at the moment with the form of the players, but a draw in this is one of my tips this week.

Boylesports.com Odds
Barneveld Evs, King 8/5, Draw 4/1

Jelle Klaasen v John Part
Klaasen, like Terry Jenkins, is missing a lot of darts at doubles and if Part gets a chance he will take it.

He's three times a World Champion and one of the most experienced players on the circuit - if Klaasen misses doubles again, John Part will run away with this one.

Boylesports.com Odds
Klaasen 7/5, Part 5/4, Draw 7/2

Terry Jenkins v James Wade
Jenkins is giving himself chances at scoring but is missing doubles at the business end of the leg.

Wade wasn't firing on all cylinders last week like he was in the previous two weeks against van Barneveld and Taylor and sometimes he really needs to fire himself up.

If he doesn't and Terry can hit his doubles, I think this one could be a draw as well.

Boylesports.com Odds
Jenkins 23/10, Wade 4/6, Draw 9/2

Phil Taylor v Wayne Mardle
Wayne got a great draw with Raymond in Newcastle last week but also [in Newcastle] Taylor got really angry with Mervyn King and there was a little bit of needle there.

We all like to see that on TV that's for sure, but it's not great for Mardle and he could walk into an express train at 100 miles an hour in Phil Taylor.

Mardle has to be at the very top of his game or The Power will run away with this one.

Boylesports.com Odds
Taylor 1/8, Mardle 12/1, Draw 7/1
