AUSTRIAN duo Mensur Suljovic and Anton Pein will compete in the PartyPoker.net Las Vegas Desert Qualifiers.
Suljovic has won his place at the Mandalay Bay next month by virtue of his standing at the top of the German Darts Corporation rankings, where he heads the standings from Michael Rosenauer.
Former World Championship qualifier Pein, meanwhile, defeated Rosenauer 3-1 in the final of a qualification event last weekend to earn his spot in Las Vegas.
Pein averaged over 98 in winning the final, and also overcame Marek Brommelhaus and Matheus Ziolkowski in winning his chance to compete in the Desert Classic qualifiers.
Meanwhile, Rosenauer reduced the gap on Suljovic at the top of the GDC rankings to 39 points by winning one of two events staged last weekend.
Suljovic was a quarter-final loser in both tournaments staged on Saturday and Sunday at the Ramada Hotel in Niedernhausen.
Suljovic won Saturday's final 3-0 against Frank Mast, while Hannes Schnier defeated Alexander Kohler in Sunday's final.
Schnier moved up to fifth in the rankings, behind third-placed Dietmar Burger and fourth-placed Pein, with his win.
