PHIL TAYLOR won his fourth PDPA Players Championship event of 2005 with a 3-0 defeat of Colin Lloyd in Holland on Saturday.
Taylor, who previously picked up the trophy in Blackpool, Wales and Ireland, was in awesome form to add a further 20 ranking points and £5,000 to his collection.
He defeated Dutch giant Raymond van Barneveld 3-1 in the semi-final, averaging 109.41, and went even better against Lloyd in the final.
Taylor averaged almost 111 and dropped just one leg to win a fourth final of the year against Lloyd.
He took the opening two legs without reply to win the first set and began the second with a ten-darter.
Lloyd hit back to level the set but Taylor needed 13 darts to move his advantage out to 2-0.
He won the first leg of the third set after Lloyd missed his doubles before quickly wrapping up proceedings.
Lloyd had earlier come from a set down to defeat Richie Burnett in the semis, while Irishman Mick McGowan - a finalist last week in Scotland - made the last eight.
