"The increase in the number of bookmaker partners for the 2009 Championship League Darts shows both the success of this tournament and the increased worldwide interest in live streaming of sport," said PDC Chairman Barry Hearn.
"The line-up of players for this year's Championship League Darts is superb and we are all excited about seeing the world's best players doing battle in this format."
The opening day's Group One, on September 15, will feature eight of the world's top ten players, including reigning Championship League Darts winner Phil Taylor, Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts champion James Wade and three-time World Champion John Part.
Following a round-robin group phase, the top four players will then contest the semi-finals and final, with the Group One champion progressing to October's Winners Group.
The bottom two players from the Group One league table will be eliminated, with the remaining five players from moving into Group Two alongside the next three available players from the PDC Order of Merit.
The format is then repeated throughout the remaining days of the tournament, which offers over £200,000 in prize money as well as a place in the PartyPoker.com Grand Slam of Darts for the winner and runner-up.
