PHIL TAYLOR and Raymond van Barneveld booked places in the quarter-finals of the Topic International Darts League with 7-1 wins over Colin Lloyd and Roland Scholten on Wednesday.
Taylor has now won both group matches in the second round, and faces Jelle Klaasen on Thursday in the final game, with the young Dutch star currently without a win.
Lloyd faces Shaun Greatbatch in the group's other game, with the winner of that game joining Taylor in the last eight.
Van Barneveld is in the same position as Taylor, sitting clear at the top of Group I after winning both his group matches so far.
His victims, Ronnie Baxter and Roland Scholten, meet on Thursday with the victor taking a place in the quarter-finals.
Second victories for Ted Hankey and Simon Whitlock on Wednesday mean that they have both booked their quarter-final places.
The pair take on each other on Thursday, with Gary Anderson and Gary Robson meeting in the group's other match but unable to overhaul the duo.
Darryl Fitton is in pole position in Group L, after defeating Michael van Gerwen 7-3 in his second game.
Martin Adams' win against Tony O'Shea gives him a leg difference advantage over the Dutch teenager going into the final games on Thursday night.
