MERVYN KING, Paul Nicholson and Steve Maish have been fined by the Darts Regulation Authority.
King was fined £4,000 by the DRA for behaving in a manner likely to bring the game of darts into disrepute, at the Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts Play-Offs.
King was found to have used obscene language before, during and after his final against James Wade, not carried out immediately instructions issued by the Tournament Director and ignoring or refusing reasonable requests from a broadcaster and promoter.
Nicholson was fined £350 for behaving in a manner likely to bring the game of darts into disrepute at the Blue Square UK Open in June.
Nicholson was seen to use obscene language in front of the television cameras following defeat to Ken Mather in the tournament.
Maish, meanwhile, was fined £125 for behaving in a manner likely to bring the game of darts into disrepute at the Players Championships on Saturday June 13 and Sunday June 14.
Maish was found to have used obscene language in the hearing of members of the public and attempting to cause wilful damage to property in the public toilet areas at the venue which led in turn to him failing to arrive at the board in time to mark the next game.
The DRA have also announced that the four primary drugs tests conducted at the Blue Square UK Open in June were all negative.
