Fallon Sherrock's historic win at the William Hill World Darts Championship has been voted as the fifth best British women's sporting moment in a BBC Sport poll.
Sherrock became the first female player to win a match in the PDC's World Championship last December, defeating Ted Evetts at Alexandra Palace with a victory which shot her to global fame.
She also defeated Mensur Suljovic before losing out to Chris Dobey in round three of the event, and that achievement was followed in January by Lisa Ashton being the first women's player to win a PDC Tour Card at Qualifying School.
Reigning World Champion Peter Wright nominated Sherrock in the BBC Sport poll, and she finished in fifth place in the voting.
Jessica Ennis-Hill's heptathlon gold medal-winning performance at the 2012 Olympic Games in London topped the vote, with Team GB's hockey gold at the 2016 Olympics, England Netball's 2018 Commonwealth games gold medal and Virginia Wade's 1977 Wimbledon tennis win being the top four.
Speaking to the BBC, Sherrock said: "Just to get the privilege of being in the actual vote itself is an honour for me anyway and then to get voted [fifth] - I'm amazed by it.
"Obviously with darts it's always been seen as male dominated. It was nice when we got the opportunity as women to go and play and to have the moment of winning a game against the men on the biggest stage there is was something I've always dreamed of.
"It was an unbelievable moment and all my emotions were going, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
"It changed my world completely and once that game was done I had the opportunity to play two more games and the momentum changed and everyone was watching it. It was an amazing experience and if I could go back and re-live it I definitely would."

Nominating Sherrock, Wright said: "It was absolutely fantastic, especially up against the men, long-distance, all the pressure with the TV cameras and all the news around the world. She done fantastic."
