A 24-player field will be competing in the World Series of Darts Finals at the Salzburgarena this weekend - with the tournament being the first PDC event in front of a crowd for six months.
World number one Van Gerwen, the winner from 2015-2017 and last year in Amsterdam, is the favourite with sponsors bwin as he seeks to scoop the £70,000 title.
World Champion Peter Wright is the 333/100 second favourite, while Gerwyn Price is 9/2 to follow up his double success in the PDC Autumn Series by taking glory in Salzburg.
Dimitri Van den Bergh is 40/1 to follow up his World Matchplay triumph in July with a second successive TV title, while his first round opponent Glen Durrant is 18/1 to win his first PDC televised event.
2018 World Series of Darts Finals winner James Wade is a 20/1 chance to claim the title for a second time this weekend.
The tournament commences with the first round on Friday, with history-maker Fallon Sherrock at 37/20 to win her tie with Jeff Smith (21/50).
