Global Coverage For bwin World Cup

THE bwin World Cup of Darts will enjoy greater worldwide live coverage than ever when the 32-nation event takes place this weekend in Frankfurt.

The PDC's annual Pairs event will see 32 teams from around the world competing across four days, with play taking place at the Eissporthalle in Frankfurt from June 11-14.

This year's event sees the Netherlands' Michael van Gerwen and Raymond van Barneveld defending the title which they won 12 months ago in Germany.

Their rivals will include two-time champions England, who are represented by Phil Taylor and Adrian Lewis, and Scotland, for whom reigning World Champion Gary Anderson competes alongside Peter Wright.

The competing nations also include former finalists Wales, Australia and Belgium, the likes of Canada, the USA, South Africa and New Zealand as well as emerging countries from Europe and Asia.

Live television broadcasts will be shown on Sky Sports in the UK & Ireland, RTL7 in the Netherlands and Sport1 in Germany.

Coverage also extends to Fox Sports in Australia, Sky New Zealand and OSN across the Middle East and North Africa, but the growing nature of the event will also see further worldwide broadcasts.

Coverage will be live on CCTV in China, on ESPN3 across America, Nova in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and through Viasat across Scandinavia, Bulgaria and the Baltic States, giving fans across the world the chance to see the action live.

In addition, LIVEPDC.TV International Pass Subscribers (outside of the UK, Ireland and Holland) will also be able to watch live coverage from the bwin World Cup of Darts.
