The number of nationalities competing on the PDC ProTour is set to increase in 2021, as the sport's global growth continues.
Following the successes of Russia's Boris Koltsov and America's Danny Baggish at PDC Qualifying Schools, the overall number of nationalities has increased by one since last year to 24.
Former World Cup of Darts quarter-finalist Koltsov becomes the first Russian to compete on the PDC circuit, while 2019 North American Darts Champion Baggish will be the first USA representative since 2011.
This year will also see more German players than ever before competing on the professional circuit, paying testament to the sport's growth in Germany in recent years.
Two-time World Cup quarter-finalist Martin Schindler secured an immediate return to the PDC tour at European Q School, where he was joined in qualifying by 2018 Grand Slam of Darts quarter-finalist Michael Unterbuchner, 2018-19 Tour Card Holder Robert Marijanovic and former handball player Florian Hempel.
The first chance to see the PDC Tour Card Holders of 2021 in action will be at Super Series 1, which will see the year's first four Players Championship events taking place in Bolton from February 25-28. Action from each day will be shown live on PDCTV - click here to subscribe.
