Lihao Wen crowned China champion to qualify for Ally Pally

Lihao Wen will make his William Hill World Championship debut in December after being crowned PDC China Champion on Saturday.

Wen defeated Bin Zheng 4-1 in sets in the final as the 38-year-old booked his place in darts' biggest event for the first time in his career.

Chengdu-based Wen previously competed in the 2016 and 2018 stagings of the Shanghai Masters, where he was beaten by Raymond van Barneveld and Michael van Gerwen respectively.

Wen also previously made the semi-finals of the China Qualifier for the 2017/18 World Championship.
