Lim Claims SUPERDARTS Title

PAUL LIM has been crowned as the DARTSLIVE SUPERDARTS champion after defeating Boris Krcmar in the final of the 16-player finals in Tokyo.

The tournament saw 16 stars of the DARTSLIVE Soft-Tip circuit come together to compete for the SUPERDARTS title, which had been previously won by America's Scott Kircher.

Kirchner, though, was defeated by veteran ace Lim as the Singapore ace went on to take this year's title.

Following a 3-0 win over Kirchner in the first round, Lim then defeated Takehiro Suzuki 3-1 in the quarter-finals, was taken to a decider in the semi-finals against Shunpei Noge before enjoying a 4-2 win over Krcmar in the final.

Croatian ace Krcmar defeated Japanese duo Atsushi Matsumoto and Sho Katsumi before overcoming British ace Adrian Gray in straight legs in the semi-finals.

Gray, a two-time PDC major quarter-finalist who won a DARTSLIVE Soft-Tip stage last year, enjoyed wins over Masumi Chino and Susumu Kasuya as he reached the last four, with Shunpei Noge also making the last four.

The tournament also featured leading Philippines ace Lourence Ilagan, American left-handers Darin Young and Ray Carver and top Canadian youngster Shaun Narain.
