WORLD CUP ace Dylan Duo was amongst the four Host Nation Qualifiers for the 2015 Gibraltar Darts Trophy on Thursday night.
Local ace Duo defeated Dayle Ramirez, World Cup of Darts pairs partner Dyson Parody - in an 11-leg thriller - and Kyle Montovio as he won through to compete in the £115,000 tournament at the Victoria Stadium this weekend.
Duo now takes on Welshman Gerwyn Price in Friday's first round, with the winner set to face former UK Open champion Robert Thornton.
Veteran ace Manuel Vilerio qualified for the third time in as many years as he defeated Kian Hansen and George Ramos to set up a first round tie with Brian Woods on Friday.
The other two Gibraltarian qualifiers, policeman Antony Lopez and European Tour debutant John Duo, will face off in Friday evening's final first round game in a contest which will ensure that at least one of the Host Nation Qualifiers will be present in the last 32.
Lopez, a qualifier 12 months ago, defeated Tony Dawkins, Jeremy Cruz and Justin Broton without dropping a leg in an impressive night's work, while Duo overcame Takahashi Shimidzu, Richard Lavagna and Darran Laker.
2014 Gibraltar Darts Trophy runner-up Steve Beaton takes on Woods or Vilerio, while Betway Premier League stars Peter Wright and Stephen Bunting also come into the action in round two.
