THE countdown is underway ahead of the opening night of the 2015 Betway Premier League in Leeds on Thursday - with a sell-out crowd of over 11,000 fans expected to pack the First Direct Arena.
Following the huge success of last year's inaugural visit to the new venue, situated in the heart of the city centre, the new Betway Premier League season will begin in Leeds.
The five games on the night will include the rematch of January's World Championship final between Gary Anderson - who claimed the title - and the legendary Phil Taylor.
In addition, reigning Betway Premier League champion Raymond van Barneveld will play 2014 UK Open champion Adrian Lewis, while world number one Michael van Gerwen plays Belgian debutant Kim Huybrechts.
Two major finalists from 2014, Dave Chisnall and Peter Wright, kick off the night in Leeds, while 2009 Premier League champion James Wade is up against another debutant, the former Lakeside Champion Stephen Bunting.
