Cash Converters PCF Schedule

THE schedule of play for the Cash Converters Players Championship Finals has been confirmed, ahead of the ITV4-televised event from Friday November 29-Sunday December 1.

Play will commence at the Butlins Minehead Resort in Somerset on Friday afternoon with the first of two sessions of first round games, with Ian White's clash with Ronnie Baxter kicking off the tournament.

Kim Huybrechts, last year's runner-up, then faces Terry Jenkins before Wes Newton takes on Andy Smith, Gary Anderson plays Stuart Kellett and Brendan Dolan meets Wayne Jones.

Jamie Caven then faces Colin Lloyd, number three seed Peter Wright takes on World Youth Champion Michael Smith and Steve Beaton plays world number six James Wade.

The evening session kicks off as John Part - the UK Masters winner at the Butlins Minehead Resort - plays Andy Hamilton, before Australia's Simon Whitlock faces Taunton's Justin Pipe in a battle of last year's losing semi-finalists.

Scotland's Robert Thornton then challenges Welsh ace Richie Burnett, before Mervyn King plays Raymond van Barneveld and Adrian Lewis takes on 2011 champion Kevin Painter.

The event's two previous winners, 2010 champion Paul Nicholson and three-time champion Phil Taylor clash in the night's sixth game as the World Champion begins the defence of his Minehead title.

Top seed Michael van Gerwen then plays emerging Welsh youngster Jamie Lewis, and number two seed Dave Chisnall completes the first round action against Dutch ace Jelle Klaasen.

The second round is split across two sessions on Saturday at the Butlins Minehead Resort, with the quarter-finals on Sunday afternoon before the event concludes on Sunday evening with the semi-finals and final.
