MERVYN KING hopes to maintain his good record against James Wade when the Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts visits Glasgow on Thursday.
King - currently second in the table - picked up an 8-4 win over Wade when the pair met in week two of this year's Premier League, and was an emphatic 8-1 and 8-3 winner in their two 2009 league meetings, which were both held in Scotland.
Although Wade later won when they met in the final, King is hoping to complete a league double over Wade in Glasgow and further dent the left-hander's play-off hopes.
"I did well against him in the league last year and started with a win against him this year as well, so hopefully I can continue that," said King.
"James hasn't played his best darts in the Premier League and it's not been the James Wade I know so well. Hopefully he can get back on track, but after we play!
"Hopefully we'll be in for a great game and I'll come out of the right end of it."
