James Wade v Ronnie Baxter
This is a must-win for James. He's at bottom of the league with only one point and up against the in-form Ronnie Baxter, a player who will make you pay for a mistake.
James has made too many mistakes so far, too many missed doubles and not enough heavy scoring. He has the ability to be a World Champion but at the minute he's a little bit lacklustre and if he makes too many mistakes then Baxter will beat him.
At 1/2 there may be a lot of value for big punters.
Match Odds
James Wade 1/2, Draw 4/1, Ronnie Baxter 3/1
Phil Taylor v Mervyn King
For me this is the game of the night.
Mervyn King is a model professional, has put in all the hard work and he really has been playing well, and he will be up for the game against Phil Taylor.
Phil will make Mervyn pay for last year when Mervyn threw a dart over his back - Phil does not forget things and he is on top form again.
He beat Raymond van Barneveld 8-2 last week and I think he will run out quite an easy winner this week.
Match Odds
Phil Taylor 1/3, Draw 5/1, Mervyn King 4/1
Terry Jenkins v Raymond van Barneveld
Who knows what is going to happen in this match? It's a no bet for me and possibly a draw if I was going to call it.
Terry Jenkins' leg-on-leg average is just not there and his consistency for the last two years has been a bit lacklustre.
We don't know what's going to happen with Raymond. If his first darts go really well then we could see the Raymond back who has won five World Championships, but he keeps changing his darts.
Match Odds
Terry Jenkins 5/4, Draw 7/2, Raymond van Barneveld 5/4
Adrian Lewis v Simon Whitlock
Adrian Lewis is on fire at the moment; he won a Players Championship at the weekend and his scoring should win him this match.
Simon missed too many doubles, which is unusual for him because the one thing he does do is set the shots up and take them out.
I see Lewis to win this about 8-4 or 8-5 and I think it will set him up to finish in the top four at the end of the season.
Match Odds
Adrian Lewis 5/4, Draw 7/2, Simon Whitlock 5/4
Rod's Sky Bet Doubles
