THREE PDC stars visited DRMC Headley Court for an exhibition on Wednesday.
James Wade, Colin Lloyd and Mark Dudbridge competed alongside defence veterans who are undergoing rehabilitation at Headley Court.
A group of 24 players were split into Team Wade, Team Lloyd and Team Dudbridge for a series of Doubles matches, before the three professionals then played off individually.
"It was a fun night," said world number three Wade. "I come from a military town, Aldershot, so it's great to be able to help out and spend time with these servicemen and women.
"It's a morale-booster to these guys and if we can offer something in doing that it's an honour.
"Both Colin and Mark were also keen to be involved and it's a reminder to us all of how lucky were are and grateful to the people putting their lives on the line."
Andy Fordham also attended the evening, alongside PDC Master of Ceremonies John McDonald, referee George Noble and marker Scott Gibling, and Sky Sports' Helen Chamberlain.
The night was held in association with 180poker.com, while Unicorn Darts and Target Darts provided equipment, and band The Cheap Suits performed their 'Afghan Dawn' song, which has been released to raise funds for charity via download - for further information visit www.afghanheroes.org.uk.
