THE third Las Vegas Players Championship will feature 153 players on Tuesday June 30.
A £30,000 prize fund will be on offer as the PDC Pro Tour returns to the Mandalay Bay Resort, where Raymond van Barneveld and Phil Taylor have been victorious in the past two years.
Tuesday's tournament will be seen as a vital warm-up for the PartyPoker.net Las Vegas Desert Classic for the PDC's top 16 and the four north Americans who have pre-qualified for the Desert Classic's televised stages, which begin 24 hours later.
The majority of the 153-player field in the Players Championship will also have competed in the Las Vegas Desert Classic Qualifiers on Sunday and Monday.
The tournament will begin at 12pm local time, with all games the best of 11 legs. The draw will be made at 11am following the close of registration.
