WAYNE MARDLE has been forced to miss out on Thursday's Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts after being struck down with a virus.
The illness means Mardle is unable to play in the tenth league night of this year's Premier League at the Westpoint Arena in Exeter, and will also have to sit out the two PDC Pro Tour events in Taunton this coming weekend.
With Mardle absent, three-time World Champion John Part will now play two games on the night in Exeter.
The Canadian will open the night against Mervyn King in his scheduled game before taking on Jelle Klaasen in the fourth game.
Phil Taylor will now meet Terry Jenkins second, with James Wade facing Raymond van Barneveld in game three.
The fixture rescheduling means Mardle will now take on Jelle Klaasen next week in Nottingham, should he be fit to return.
He would also then meet Phil Taylor in what was his scheduled week 11 game, with Part having a week's break.
