Rod Harrington's Edinburgh Preview

ROD HARRINGTON previews night two of the Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts.

The Sky Sports expert, in his MatchroomBets.com video preview, looks at each of the four games to be played at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh on Thursday.

Match odds and other prices are available from Boylesports - the official betting partner of the Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts.

Odds below correct at 9pm on Wednesday February 11.

JOHN PART v RAYMOND VAN BARNEVELD
Both players are a little bit indifferent in their form. Barneveld didn't play up to scratch against Taylor last week and John Part got a draw out of James Wade.

I see this as a Barney win, but only just - and it wouldn't surprise me if John Part doesn't get a draw out of this game.

Boylesports.com Odds
Part 4/1, Draw 5/1, Barneveld 2/5

WAYNE MARDLE v TERRY JENKINS
Wayne wasn't really doing it last week and Mervyn King gave him a bit of a whopping.

Terry got a draw, and I only see this match going his way on current form.

Wayne's really got to find his championship darts, he's not really done it in the Premier League and Terry should come out the winner.

Boylesports.com Odds
Mardle 17/10, Draw 9/2, Jenkins 9/10

PHIL TAYLOR v JELLE KLAASEN
This will be fast and furious. The young man is really up against it against Taylor, who is in exceptional form.

I can only see this as a win for Taylor, and a convincing win.

If Klaasen's going to have any chance, like any player against Phil, he has got to win the first three legs.

If he hits some form like he did in Gibraltar, when he hit 11 180s in six legs, then he has got a chance, but Phil is in blistering form and I can only see it going his way.

Boylesports.com Odds
Taylor 1/7, Draw 7/1, Klaasen 12/1

JAMES WADE v MERVYN KING
Mervyn is top of the league at the moment and had a blistering game against Wayne Mardle last week and really played well - he had a 107 average until the last leg.

James is another player who cannot find form consistently. One game he's brilliant, the next he's not.

He seems to put two or three legs together of 11 or 12 darts and then give the next two away, and he did that against John Part last week.

He can't do that against Mervyn King, who is flying. Last week he got up there and did the business.

I think this may end up a draw, it really looks as if both players will settle for that.

Boylesports.com Odds
Wade EVS, Draw 9/2, King 6/4
