DUE to the high number of entries, the two Players Championship events in Newport next weekend will begin at 11am.
Over 150 players have entered the two tournaments, which will be held at the Newport Centre on September 20 and 21.
As such, the start time for the two events has been brought forward an hour from 12pm to 11am.
The entrants for the tournaments include world number one Phil Taylor and James Wade.
Jason Clark will be competing for the first time since June, having recovered from a torn muscle in his shoulder.
The two tournaments are the last to count before the cut-off for qualification for the Sky Poker World Grand Prix, with the top 16 players from the PDC Order of Merit joined by the top 12 non-qualified players and leading four players from Ireland/Northern Ireland from the Players Championship Order of Merit.
The draw for both events will be available on Thursday September 18.
Please note that there will be no spectator admission for members of the general public, in line with the policy introduced for PDC Pro Tour events earlier this year.
