MENSUR SULJOVIC and Michael Rosenauer were the winners in the latest round of German Darts Corporation events last weekend.
Suljovic maintained his position at the head of the GDC rankings by winning Sunday's tournament at the Ramada Hotel in Hurth, as well as finishing as runner-up on Saturday.
He was defeated 3-1 in the final of Saturday's event by Michael Rosenauer, who consolidated second place in the rankings with his performance.
Rosenauer was a straight sets winner in the semi-finals against Maik Langendorf, after being taken to five sets in the quarters by Marc Chwialkowsky.
On Sunday, Suljovic came from a set down in the final against Kevin Munch to take a 3-1 win.
He had also defeated Andree Welge and Olaf Tupuschis by the same scoreline in the semis and quarters respectively.
Welge's run to the semis moved him up to third in the GDC rankings, narrowly ahead of Anton Pein, Dietmar Burger and Hannes Schnier.
