THE 2009 Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship will be staged from December 19-January 4 at London's Alexandra Palace.
The £740,000 tournament will take place over 13 days over the Christmas and New Year period, culminating in the final on Sunday January 4 2009.
The World Championship will open on Friday December 19, and run through to Tuesday December 23 before breaking for Christmas.
Play will resume on Saturday December 27 and run through to Tuesday December 30, with the quarter-finals onwards played from New Year's Day onwards.
Tickets are now on general sale and can only be purchased from the PDC Ticket Line on 0871 231 0831 or through www.seetickets.com/darts.
