SPECTATOR TICKETS are now on sale for the two Players Championship tournaments to be staged at Ashton Gate in Bristol on June 14 & 15.
The two PDC Pro Tour events will be held for the first time in the Dolman Exhibition Lounge at Ashton Gate - the home of Bristol City FC.
"We are delighted to be hosting the Players Championships," said Ashton Gate Limited Managing Director Doug Harman.
"We believe Ashton Gate Stadium and the Bristol Evening Post Dolman Exhibition Hall is an ideal location for the event, which I'm sure will attract a big crowd.
"We've always said Ashton Gate is a multi-sport stadium and this event adds to our portfolio."
Bristol's Mark Dudbridge, the former World Championship runner-up, is looking forward to appearing in front of his local crowd.
"It's not very often I get to play in front of a Bristol crowd and it will be very special for me, and the other local players like Steve Brown," said Dudbridge.
"But it's a very important weekend too, building up to the Las Vegas Desert Classic and just after the UK Open so everyone will be in top form.
"As a Bristol City fan, I can't wait to play at Ashton Gate and hopefully I can be as successful as the team have been this year!"
The quarter-finals onwards from the two Players Championship events will be played on stage at Ashton Gate, with admission for this phase of the event.
There are a limited number of VIP tickets available to view games in the earlier rounds ahead of the stage phase of the tournament.
VIP tickets for preliminary and show board matches are available from £9.00 per day, standard tickets for just the show board games are £7.00 per day or £12.00 for both days.
