THE world's top four players will compete in the London Masters Darts Classic on Wednesday night - the first black tie darts dinner.
The famous National Sporting Club of Great Britain are staging the dinner at London's prestigious Cafe Royal.
The dinner will feature a knockout between the PDC's top four stars; world number one Raymond van Barneveld, 13-time World Champion Phil Taylor, reigning Stan James World Matchplay and SkyBet World Grand Prix champion James Wade and current Ladbrokes.com PDC World Darts Champion John Part.
Van Barneveld takes on Wade (pictured) in one knockout semi-final over the best of nine legs, with Taylor and Part meeting in the other game.
The winners will then play over the best of 11 legs in the final.
"The London Masters Darts Classic is a chance for some leading City companies and members of the National Sporting Club of Great Britain to see the world's top stars on the oche," said PDC Chairman Barry Hearn.
"We saw a record crowd of almost 8,000 for the Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts at Liverpool last week, and this night sees darts come to another new audience.
"Black tie boxing is a concept which has been successful for many years and this show could be the start of something special for darts."
