THE draw for the Midlands Players Championship, to be held at the Telford International Centre on Saturday 29 March.
The tournament sees world number one Raymond van Barneveld make his first appearance of 2008 in a Pro Tour event in the UK, and he could face in-form Chris Thompson as well as Michael van Gerwen in the early rounds.
Phil Taylor will also be in action as he seeks a fourth successive PDC Pro Tour victory, after his wins in the Blue Square UK Open North-West Regional Final a fortnight ago and last weekend's PartyPoker.net Players Championship double-header in Germany.
The tournament commences at 11am and the format is the best of five legs, best of three legs per set throughout.
Entry is free to members of the public, however a strict capacity limit has been imposed by the venue and the PDC cannot guarantee entry. No under-11's will be admitted.
