Jenkins Riding High!

TERRY JENKINS feels he is ready for anything after defeating World Champions in the past three weeks of the Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts.

Jenkins entered the 2008 Premier League on a run of poor form, following up his first round exit in the Ladbrokes.com PDC World Darts Championship with narrow losses in his first two matches.

However, he is unbeaten since after taking the scalps of World Champions Phil Taylor, Raymond van Barneveld and John Part.

"My confidence is growing all the time," said Jenkins. "I struggled for two or three months but that's gone now.

"I think I'm learning all the time too.

"You can't get any more pressure than playing in front of these crowds in the Premier League and if you can blank that out you can cope with anything."

Jenkins faces Peter Manley this week at the Nottingham Arena, with 'One Dart' sat just a point adrift of the top four after taking a win and three draws so far.

"I'm looking forward to it," said Jenkins. "We're really good friends and it's going to be a good game.

"He's started really well so I know it'll be tough."
