"The Greatest Show on Earth" begins on Monday 17 December at Alexandra Palace in London, with 12 days and 19 sessions taking place before the Ladbrokes.com PDC World Darts Champion is crowned on New Year's Day.
A total of 68 players from a record 19 countries will compete for the biggest prize fund in darts, £605,000, with the winner taking home £100,000.
For the first time, darts fans can watch the tournament LIVE ONLINE through WorldChampionshipDarts.tv, which is available for subscribers from outside the UK and Holland.

Format
All sets are the best of five legs.
There will be a tie break rule employed in all matches; any match which goes to a deciding set must be won by two clear legs.
If the score in the last set reaches 5-5 then a sudden death leg will be played. Nearest the bull at this point will decide who throws first in this leg.
Prize Fund
Nine-Dart Finish - Should any player achieve a perfect nine-dart finish during the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship, the prize will be £20,000. Should more than one player achieve this it will be distributed equally, regardless of the number of occasions each player achieved the feat.
