REPORTS from the first two quarter-finals of the Bullit World Darts Trophy, featuring Gary Anderson v Peter Manley and Andy Hamilton v Martin Adams.
Play begins at 8pm local time (7pm BST) and reports will appear here following the matches.
Gary Anderson 5-1 Peter Manley
Gary Anderson's charge towards a second major title continued with a 5-1 victory over Peter Manley in the Bullit World Darts Trophy Quarter-Finals.
The Scotsman took the International Darts League title in May, and looks in excellent form once again following a convincing win over Manley.
Anderson dropped just one set in the game, and was never in trouble after taking a 2-0 lead early on by winning the opening six legs.
Manley hit back to win set three in a deciding leg, but saw the fourth set go all the way but in Anderson's favour as his chance to level matters slipped away.
Anderson then took set five 3-1 to create a 4-1 lead in the game and wasted little more time in booking his semi-final spot by taking the next set without reply.
Andy Hamilton 5-4 Martin Adams
Andy Hamilton produced the best win of his career with a sensational 5-4 defeat of Martin Adams - coming from 4-1 down to book his place in the semi-finals of the Bullit World Dart Trophy.
Adams, the Lakeside Champion, showed his quality with a string of ton-plus finishes to romp into the lead and leave Hamilton reeling after five sets of a pulsating contest.
But the Stoke man hauled himself back into the game, taking four successive sets to set up a semi-final against Gary Anderson on Saturday.
Hamilton had chances to win the first set in a decider, with the opening four legs going with the throw before his misses allowed Adams in to break and move 1-0 up.
Hamilton also paid for misses on his throw in the second set, with Adams taking all three legs without reply - including a 121 checkout for a 2-0 lead.
He led 2-1 in set three before Adams produce two moments of class, with a 121 finish for a 12-darter levelling the set and a 158 finish - with Hamilton sat on 40 - extended his advantage further.
Adams also led 2-0 in the fourth set before Hamilton landed six perfect darts in the third leg, going on to take that leg and the next two, including a 129 finish, to get off the mark at 3-1.
Hamilton also hit a 12-darter to kick off set five, only for Adams to land three checkouts of the highest order in finishes of 156, 135 and 121 to create a 4-1 lead and move to a set away from victory.
Finishes of 130 and 120 from Hamilton put him command in set six, only for Adams to hit back and level with a 161 finish, but Hamilton took the deciding fifth leg against the throw to pull back another set.
He then won set seven 3-1 and came from a leg down to repeat that scoreline in the next and send the game into a deciding ninth set.
Adams broke the throw in leg one with a 61 finish for a 14-darter, before Hamilton hit back to level.
A missed dart at double 16 allowed Hamilton in to win the third on double four, and a 46 finish for a 15-darter saw the Stoke player book his place in the last four.
Hamilton hit 14 180s in the game, and finished with an average of 94.31, with Adams averaging 94.48 and hitting a brilliant seven ton-plus finishes.
