CRAIG ATZE won the latest Australian Grand Prix tournament at the Mid North Classic in Jamestown, SA.
Top Southern Australia player Atze defeated Andrew Townes in the final of the tournament to claim his first victory on the AGP circuit.
Peter Corcoran and Shane Edwards reached the semi-finals of the event.
Current AGP leader Simon Whitlock, along with former champions Barry Jouannet, Brian Roach and Anthony Fleet opted not to travel to Jamestown following the recent William Cross Pro-Am, with the DPA Australian Open also looming on the horizon.
