STEVE MACARTHUR defeated Glen Power 6-5 to win the final of The Condoblin Classic, the second Australian Grand Prix event of 2007.
Macarthur, from Broken Hill, was in fine form throughout the event to pick up ten ranking points.
He defeated Mark Jobson in the semis and then edged out Power in a tight final which went all the way to a deciding 11th leg.
Power averaged over 96 in his semi-final defeat of Phil Botterill, while Jobson ended the hopes of Barry Jouannet in the last 16.
Brian Roach, the 2005 AGP Champion, was amongst the quarter-finalists.
