FOLLOWING consultations with the PDPA, the PDC will be organising a separate, knockout qualifier for four places in the Topic International Darts League.
Four qualifiers will join the top 12 players from the PDC Order of Merit in the IDL in Nijmegen, Holland in May.
Initially, the PDC planned to award these places to the four highest-placed finishers in April's Antwerp Darts Trophy who had not already qualified by right.
However, following talks between the PDC and PDPA, a knockout qualifier will now be staged at Villa Park, Birmingham on Saturday 21 April.
This event will be open to PDPA members only, who must be registered and fully paid-up by Friday 30 March, and costs £25 to enter.
Entries will be taken via the PDC's Online Entry or on 08712 501 180 and close at 4pm on Thursday 12 April.
The qualifier will be the best of nine legs throughout, and the highest-ranked 32 players in the PDC Order of Merit who enter will be seeded.
Players who have already qualified for the Topic IDL through their status in the PDC top 12 or a Wildcard are not permitted to enter this event.
