DENNIS PRIESTLEY has moved back up to fifth in the world rankings following his win at the Blue Square UK Open South-West Regional Final.
The Yorkshireman picked up £5,000 for his win over James Wade in Bristol, moving him above Roland Scholten and Terry Jenkins into the top five of the Order of Merit.
Jenkins and Scholten actually slipped to seventh and eighth respectively, with Adrian Lewis moving up to sixth.
Andy Hamilton's run to the semi-finals sees him continue his climb up the Order of Merit, jumping two places to 12th.
Wade's £2,500 for reaching the final puts him on the brink of a place in the world's top ten for the first time, while Mick McGowan moved up one place to 32nd, above Steve Beaton, following the event.
Priestley also moves up to second in the Order of Merit for the Blue Square UK Open, behind Raymond van Barneveld.
