JOHN PART and Wes Newton enjoyed a successful weekend at the Las Vegas Open - but John Kuczysnki narrowly missed out on the singles title.
Both Newton and Part - the current Las Vegas Desert Classic champion - headed across the Atlantic following the Players Championship tournaments in Gibraltar to compete in the Las Vegas Open event.
They teamed up to great effect in the doubles tournaments, taking both the 501 and Cricket Doubles titles.
Neither, though, were able to hit the jackpot in the Mens Singles event, which was won by Chris White.
White defeated top American John Kuczynski in the final.
Brad Wethington, a qualifier for the World Series of Darts and Las Vegas Desert Classic last year, won the Cricket Singles title.
