The first seven round two matches take place at the Circus Tavern in Purfleet, with the tournament then breaking for Christmas before returning on Boxing Day.
RICO VONCK 4-2 BRIAN CYR
(3-1, 3-0, 2-3, 3-0, 0-3, 3-2)
TEENAGER Rico Vonck's Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship dream continued with a 4-2 win over Canada's Brian Cyr.
Vonck had never appeared on television before qualifying to play at the Circus Tavern, but the 19-year-old will now play either Colin Lloyd or Raymond van Barneveld in the last 16.
Canadian Cyr overcame Barrie Bates in round one but suffered a bout of double trouble to see his hopes ended by the youngster.
Vonck won six of the first seven legs, punishing missed doubles from Cyr in most as he established a two-set lead.
The teenager also led 2-0 in the second set and was sat on double top before Cyr finally landed double four to get back in the hunt.
The Canadian won the next two legs to pull back the third set, after Vonck missed tops for a 3-0 cushion.
Vonck produced legs of 16 and 15 darts to move clear in set four, and then punished more misses from Cyr to create a 3-1 lead.
Cyr won a scrappy opening leg in the next set, and took out double top at the first attempt to raise smiles and open a 2-0 lead.
A third maximum of the match helped him to take a second set and increase the pressure on Vonck.
The first three legs in set six went with the throw to put Vonck within sight of victory, but he stuttered at the final hurdle by missing seven darts to the match as Cyr scrambled double ten to stay alive.
He was also first to the double in the decider, and missed four more darts for victory before finally taking out double three.

"I had a few missed doubles along the way but I managed to take the chances when he gave me them," said Vonck.
"It wasn't quite as good as my first display but I'm pleased to be through and will have to stay over Christmas now!
"My mum and dad will go home and I will stay at the hotel, and I'll be practising on Christmas Day too. I've been practising with Adrian Lewis this week and he has given me some good tips."

ADRIAN LEWIS 4-3 WAYNE JONES
(3-0, 3-1, 2-3, 2-3, 3-1, 2-3, 3-0)
ADRIAN LEWIS kept alive his Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship dream with a victory over Wayne Jones in a seven-set thriller at the Circus Tavern.
Lewis boldly predicted that he was "ready" to take the title from mentor Phil Taylor after a first round win over Anthony Fleet.
The 21-year-old from Stoke made a stunning start to the match by winning the first two sets, but Jones pegged him back to take a pulsating encounter into a deciding final set.
Lewis exploded into the game, winning the first set in under five minutes with stunning legs of 11, 14 and 12 darts, landing three maximums and 177 score.
A 15-darter got Jones off the mark in set two before Lewis took out a 101 finish to level matters and then added further 180s in the next two legs to double his advantage.
Lewis also led 2-1 in set three before Jones took the set in a decider after his opponent spurned six darts for a 3-0 cushion.
Jones took out finishes of 104 and 101 in winning the fourth set 3-2 to level the match and lift the capacity Purfleet crowd to its feet.
Lewis produced a superb set to take the fifth 3-1 with legs of 13, 14 and 11 darts, including two maximums in the decisive leg.
He put himself within one leg of the match in set six by moving 2-1 up, but an imposion when needing 25 in the fourth leg allowed Jones in to take out 101 to stay in the match.
The Wolverhampton star - a semi-finalist last year - then took out 96 in two darts to make the scores 3-3 and sent the match into the final set.
Lewis took out two 16-darters to once again move towards the finishing line, and a superb 85 finish on the bull sealed his place in the last 16.
"It was a brilliant game," said Lewis. "Wayne played really well and I knew it would be tight from the off.
"I did lose focus a bit and was disappointed with my consistency.
"I'd started to see the winning post and relaxed too much. When it went to 3-3 I knew I had to dig deep and I'm delighted that I won the final set 3-0."
Lewis will now meet Andy Jenkins or Andy Smith in the third round, and will be pracitising alongside Taylor on Christmas Day.
"I've put a lot of work in so far for this tournament and I'll do four hours on Christmas Day," he said.
"Phil plays on Boxing Day so we'll have a good session then. I need to, to make sure I am more consistent."

TERRY JENKINS 4-3 STEVE BEATON
(3-0, 3-1, 0-3, 0-3, 3-2, 2-3, 3-1)
TERRY JENKINS held off Steve Beaton's spirited comeback to book his place in round three of the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship.
The world number six won six of the first seven legs to open up a two-set lead, only for former World Champion Beaton to find his gear and pull back into the contest.
Beaton took the match into a decider, but it was Jenkins who came out on top with a 101 finish to take the match.
"I had him under control at the start but it's hard to keep going when you're in front," said Jenkins, who reached his first televised final at the World Grand Prix in October.
"You see the winning line and I'm still learning.
"I found I was good against the darts, and I was pleased I hit the shots when I had to in the final set."
He hit the shots in the opening set too, using just 40 darts in taking the three legs, including an 11-darter in leg three.
A 116 finish put him two up in the second, and though Beaton responded with an 11-darter of his own, Jenkins took out double top for a two-set cushion.
Beaton found another gear and won seven successive legs - including a 125 finish - to draw level at 2-2 and move in front in the fifth set.
Jenkins' consistent scoring helped him to win three of the next four legs and regain the advantage, only for Beaton to come from behind in the sixth to tie the match.
The pair traded 16-darters to open the final set, but Jenkins took the third with Beaton sat on a double, and broke his opponent's throw with a 101 checkout to seal the win.

WYNAND HAVENGA 4-3 PETER MANLEY
(3-2, 3-0, 3-2, 0-3, 0-3, 2-3, 3-1)
WYNAND HAVENGA'S dream Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship debut continued with an amazing 4-3 win over 2006 runner-up Peter Manley.
The South African - who became his country's first ever player at the Circus Tavern when he overcame Steve Maish in round one - took an incredible 3-0 lead against the world number seven to stun the Circus Tavern.
Manley showed his resilience by fighting back to send the game into a decider, but Havenga had the final say to book a place in the last 16.

"It's amazing, a dream come true," said the 41-year-old from Cape Town.
"Peter came back strongly and him coming back from 3-0 down was great, but I always felt I could win it in my heart - and my head.
"I had to keep my cool and play my own darts. I wasn't stressed but I did miss some doubles.
"My goal was to reach the last 16 so I've achieved that but I'll look forward to the next round now."
Havenga won the game's opening two legs to take a shock lead as Manley began slowly.
The Carlisle-based star hit back to level the opening set before Havenga took out 57 in two darts to move 1-0 up.
The South African then doubled his advantage by taking the second set without reply, and landed his first maximum on the way to a 2-0 lead in set three.
Manley levelled matters but again Havenga was stronger in the decider, landing double ten for a stunning 3-0 cushion to leave his opponent reeling.
Manley - a three-time Purfleet finalist - took the next six legs to begin his comeback and cut the deficit to just one set.
Havenga began set six with a 13-darter which included back-to-back 180s, and led 2-0 before Manley hit back.
Firstly, he landed double top with Havenga sat on 40 for the match, before a 161 finish levelled the set and double top kept him in the game.
The two swapped the opening pair of legs in the deciding set, before Havenga took a tense third leg on double five after opening with a fifth maximum.
He then sealed the win after opening with another 180 and reaching the double in 12 darts before landing double ten for victory.
"I was very inconsistent and am disappointed with how I played," said Manley. "He was hard to play and I didn't know what I was up against.
"I probably wish I'd seen his first game, but I thought Steve Maish would get through and didn't pay much attention.
"I didn't play well and struggled with the way the threw his darts and how slowly he retrieved them. He played steady and did whatever he had to do.
"I probably gave him an edge by not saying anything about his play, but I don't know him too well and he seems a nice guy.
"He played well, scored well and capitalised on my poor legs."

CHRIS MASON 4-2 JOHN PART
(3-1, 1-3, 3-2, 3-0, 1-3, 3-0)
CHRIS MASON booked a place in round three of the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship with a 4-2 win over John Part.
The world number 15 has waited a year to avenge his loss to Part on the Circus Tavern stage at the second round point in a classic 12 months ago.
And he produced a stylish performance to see off the Canadian, hitting four ton-plus finishes and holding off a gritty Part display.
Mason took the first set 3-1 with two 15-darters and a 112 finish, before Part won the second by the same scoreline.
Part also led 2-0 in the third set before legs of 14, 15 and 16 darts put Mason 2-1 up.
The Stoke-based star then took control in the fourth set, producing three 15-darters and finishes of 116 and 115 to move two sets clear.
Part came from a leg down in the fifth set to reduce the arrears to 3-2, including a 112 checkout of his own, to stay in the game.
Mason landed a 129 checkout to begin the sixth set before punishing Part's missed doubles and take the second leg.
Three ton-plus scores gave him the chance in the third and, after Part missed the bullseye for a 123 finish, he stepped in to complete the triumph.

"I'm overjoyed to win," said Mason. "I scored OK, had a few iffy legs and didn't feel comfortable but I'm pleased to have turned up for two games running.
"John is tough to play, he's consistently rattling you and never lets up. He's a legend."
Mason is awaiting the winner of the Boxing Day clash between 13-time World Champion Phil Taylor and rising Irish star Mick McGowan.
"Phil's got a tough game on his hands," said Mason. "Mick defeated him in Holland last month and I marked the game.~
"Phil was at his majestic best and he lost in the last leg, and you can't under-rate Mick. It's a tough task to do it on the televised stage, but it should be a great game."

COLIN LLOYD 3-4 RAYMOND VAN BARNEVELD
(3-0, 3-2, 3-2, 1-3, 2-3, 2-3, 5-6)
RAYMOND VAN BARNEVELD produced a miraculous comeback to come from three sets down to defeat Colin Lloyd in a sudden-death leg at the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship.
The Dutchman was facing an early exit in his bid to win a fifth World Championship when Lloyd stormed into a 3-0 lead.
However, he battled back to take the game into a decider, with Lloyd missing four darts for the match before van Barneveld took the sudden-death leg.

"I've played well and prepared for this for two months but Colin played so well in those first three sets," said van Barneveld.
"I had to fight for my life but sometimes there is an angel on your shoulder."
Lloyd made a tremendous start, winning the opening set 3-0 and taking out a 116 in the third leg.
He twice landed double top to move ahead in the second set, and though van Barneveld hit back to level matters Lloyd landed a brilliant 11-darter against the darts to go 2-0 up.
The third set went with the throw as Lloyd opened up a three set lead and moved to within one set of the match.
Van Barneveld produced a quite brilliant fourth set, with legs of 13, 13 and 15 darts putting him back in the contest.
He also produced finishes of 126 and 121 in the fifth set, before saving the match after Lloyd missed the bullseye to take victory.
The sixth set went with the throw throughout as the pair continued to trade blows like prize boxers, with a 148 finish from Lloyd being followed by a 116 checkout from the Dutchman.
At 2-2, Lloyd missed the bullseye for the match for a second time before van Barneveld landed double top to stay in the game.
The seventh set also went with the throw, with van Barneveld hitting legs of 13 and 14 darts and Lloyd responding with two 14 darters of his own to sit 3-2 up.
Van Barneveld levelled at 3-all under no pressure from Lloyd, who in turn took out 87 to nudge back in front.
Lloyd set up another chance for the match in the eighth leg, missing double top for a 145 finish before van Barneveld landed double two with his last dart to stay alive.
A 115 finish gave Lloyd a 5-4 lead, and he saw a fourth chance to wrap up victory go begging when he again missed tops.
Van Barneveld's double eight ensured a sudden-death finish, and the Dutchman won the bull to earn the throw.
Four ton-plus scores gave him the advantage, and he hit double 18 in 15 darts - with Lloyd sat on 102 after 12 - to take one of the World Championship's greatest ever contests.
"I've never played a game like that before," added van Barneveld. "It was amazing - even in the last leg I finished in 15 darts and Colin was on a finish.
"I had to fight for my life and the last set was such a battle. I've worked so hard this year and prepared for this for two months."

ADRIAN GRAY 1-4 DARREN WEBSTER
(3-1, 0-3, 1-3, 0-3, 2-3)
DARREN WEBSTER reeled off four sets on the spin to book his place in the last 16 of the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship.
Rising star Adrian Gray took the first set in impressive style, but the Norfolk thrower hit back well to make the post-Christmas period at the Circus Tavern.
He will face South Africa's Wynand Havenga in the last 16, following another good display as he adapts to the big stage.
Gray came from a leg down in set one to take the lead, but Webster responded with a treble-burst in the second to square matters.
Webster opened the third set with a fine 12-darter, and added back-to-back legs after Gray had taken leg two to move 2-1 up.
Gray continued to struggle in the fourth set as Webster took three successive legs to move 3-1 up, and the Norwich thrower moved clear in the fifth with a 128 checkout.
Gray hit back to go 2-1, up, but successive 15-darters put Webster into the last 16.

"I'm pleased to be through but it was tough," said Webster. "We were following the match between Colin Lloyd and Raymond van Barneveld, and it was very different for both of us.
"We were practising and when Colin was 3-0 up we were ready to go on, but then Raymond came back and we were left waiting.
"It was a wierd atmosphere too and we probably both didn't hit our highs.
"The only thing that matters is being in round three, and hopefully I will pick my game up for that.
"I've got a week off now and will look forward to playing Wynand."
