MICK McGOWAN won his second title of 2006 with a 6-1 defeat of Stuart Dutton in the JR & Vauxhall Holiday Park 128 Plus Classic on Friday.
The Irishman has enjoyed a superb year, winning the Ireland Open Classic two months ago and reaching two Pro Tour finals in recent weeks.
His superb form continued at Great Yarmouth as he picked up 12 points by winning the Category One ranked event, along with a £2,400 in prize money.
McGowan averaged 100.59 in the final, landing five 180s in the match, going 5-0 up before sealing the win in the seventh leg after Dutton - in his first PDC-ranked final - avoided a whitewash.
Gary Welding and Denis Ovens battled through to reach the semi-finals, while Alex Roy reached the last eight with a win over World Number One Colin Lloyd.
Mick McGowan is pictured receiving his winner's cheque from Pauline Raby of JR Darts
