THE 24 automatic qualifiers for the SkyBet World Grand Prix are now known - while players have until 4pm on Thursday to secure their entries for the forthcoming Newport weekend.
The 2006 SkyBet World Grand Prix will take place at the CityWest Hotel, Dublin from 23-29 October.
The 32-man field features the top 24 players in the PDC rankings after last weekend's Ireland Open Classic, along with four PDPA Qualifiers and four Irish Qualifiers.
Bob Anderson held on to the 24th and final spot, despite missing the tournament in Ireland to compete in the William Cross Pro-Am in Australia.
Barrie Bates and Andy Smith will make their debuts in the double-start World Grand Prix this year.
The All-Ireland Qualifiers take place this weekend in Dundalk, with 348 players competing for the four spots.
The PDPA Qualifiers will take place at the Newport Centre on Friday 22 September.
Saturday 23 September sees the Welsh PDPA Players Championship tournament, while Sunday 24 September is the opening UK Open Regional Final.
Entries for the three Newport events closes on Thursday 14 September at 4pm.
