Phil Da'Casto

THE Professional Darts Corporation regret to announce the sad passing of Phil Da'Casto, who died peacefully at home on Monday.

PDC Event Director Dick Allix paid the following tribute to Phil:
Philip 'Phil' Da'Casto died peacefully at home on Monday 28 August from Cancer.

He leaves a wife Karen and two children.

Phil was only 51 years old and originally worked in the coal industry before becoming firstly Phil Taylor's driver then working for Eric Bristow.

He refereed all of Eric's Exhibitions and, in 2004, became part of the Sky Sports Production Team as a spotter for the cameras alongside Eric and Keith Deller.

Phil will be remembered for his dedication and loyalty plus his deep love of the game and all its players.

Never without a smile and a gracious gentle way, he will be sadly missed by all of us.

The funeral will be held at Streetly Crematorium on 12 September at 1pm and then onto the Pelsall Social Club.
