AFTER four-and-a-half years based at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire, the Professional Darts Corporation's Head Office will move to Brentwood, Essex on Monday.
The move will see the PDC based at the Matchroom Sport offices in Mascalls, with Barbie Curwood succeeding Rita Hall in the administration role.
The PDC's administrative, media and communications departments will be based together at Mascalls.
Whilst Barbie will be responsible for taking player entries into tournaments, the PDC are also developing an online registration system to allow round-the-clock entry for PDC events, all PDPA members will be written to about this in the coming weeks.
"Firstly, I would personally like to place on record my thanks to Rita for her invaluable work in the past four and a half years," said PDC Chief Executive Tim Darby.
"She has been an exceptional asset to the Professional Darts Corporation and we can only wish her the very best of luck for her future career.
"The move to Mascalls takes place at a time when we are making great progress at the PDC, and will help to further strengthen our administration.
"Many players will now have spoken to Barbie over the telephone, and I'm sure she will enjoy her time with us at the PDC."
Rita has asked that we pass on her thanks to all the players and those connected with the PDC, for their very generous messages of good luck and best wishes on her departure.
She has said that she will miss the banter with the players fostered over the last four and a half years and she in turn wishes everyone at the PDC and the PDPA a healthy, happy and prosperous future.
